Järva Ceremonial Hall is a thoughtfully designed sanctuary that offers a peaceful environment for reflection, remembrance and community gatherings. Located just outside Stockholm, it serves as a welcoming space for people of all beliefs to come together.

The Danish architectural duo Kristine Jensens Tegnestue and Poul Ingemann crafted the hall with a Scandinavian design ethos that emphasizes openness, abundant natural light and subtle yet playful geometries. Their approach integrates the innovative glass elements seamlessly, fostering a serene environment that adapts gracefully to the changing daylight throughout the day.

At the heart of Järva Ceremonial Hall’s design are expansive glass facades featuring Saflex UV (RB4U). This advanced interlayer provides essential UV protection, exceptional clarity and customizable sizing for complex shapes. Its flexibility enabled striking large windows, including round and triangular forms, and a 4.4-meter-high curved glass arch that exceeds typical laminated glass limits. Saflex UV delivers durable, long-lasting performance and enhances natural light to create the hall’s tranquil atmosphere.

The protective and versatile features of Saflex UV combined with thoughtful design to create a lasting architectural landmark that blends form, function and environment in a meaningful way.
