We are pleased to announce that the national approvals for Saflex™ Structural in the EMEA region have been successfully renewed this quarter.
- In May, the French national approval, known as the DTA (Document Technique d’Application), was extended until July 2028.
- Recently, the German national approval, the aBG (Allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung, ref. Z 70.3-0254), was renewed through July 2030.
These national approvals are critical certifications that confirm the compliance of Saflex Structural with the specific glazing design standards and safety regulations in each country and allow use of Saflex Structural properties. They enable architects, engineers, and glazing professionals to confidently incorporate Saflex Structural into their projects, ensuring adherence to national building codes and safety requirements.
As authoritative references within the French and German markets, the DTA and aBG approvals form the foundation for all Saflex Structural sales and applications in these countries. The renewals reaffirm our commitment to providing high-quality, certified structural interlayers that meet stringent national standards.
We remain dedicated to supporting our customers with products that combine innovation, safety, and regulatory compliance across the EMEA region.
